We suggest a monthly contribution in the amount of 7 Euro. This sum will constitute the overall budget covering the running costs of our animal shelter, but if necessary, your foster pet will receive a priority treatment, e.g. special medicaments or the like. All animals in our shelter are under constant veterinary supervision and receive treatment according to their needs as well as regular worming and vaccination (not only anti-rabies inoculation, but also against contagious diseases). All our pets, unless too frail in their health or too young, are sterilised (spayed or neutered). We also cover the costs of placing microchip implants. A lot of our dogs are quite old and thus need special medication. Just like older people, they suffer from rheumatic joints or other malfunctions, whose symptoms can be alleviated with painkillers, vitamin supplements, special diet, or the like. We also have to deal with pets that absolutely fail to adapt to the routine of an animal shelter and have to fall into a category of "problem pets". Apart from our patience and devotion, they demand specialised care, training and even therapeutic rehabilitation. In some cases we temporarily place them in "foster families" or in catteries and kennels respectively. The procedure to become a "virtual foster parent / adopter" of a pet is as follows: please send us an e-mail message from the website, stating which pet you have chosen and which of your personal information should be shown on its site (your name, surname and address, or only a name, or a town?). After sending us an "adoption e-mail", please transfer the first monthly donation to our bank account at Bank Citi Handlowy SWIFT CITIPLPX IBAN PL 74 1030 0019 0109 8530 0033 5672 As Transfer Name please provide “Virtual Adoption” and add the name of your chosen pet and its number. You can also use Pay Pal on our site (left) which is a cheaper and easier way. (DONATE) You will be informed immediately in case of your pet being adopted by a real person. We will do our best to provide you with current photographs of your pet. Often we are lucky to have a good number of virtual adopters so that all the pets in our charge have their virtual carers, and some of them even two. Obviously, we constantly update our picture gallery of the pets in our shelter. Thank you very much for your help and co-operation.
